ElkQ: What is the difference between Grande Ronde Recovery and Blue Mountain Associates?

A: Grande Ronde Recovery is an outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment center. Blue Montain Associates is an outpatient mental health treatment center. Although Blue Mountain Associates can also provide counseling and substance abuse support, the primary focus of this division is mental health treatment.

Q: What can I expect with my first appointment at either Blue Mountains Associates or Grande Ronde Recovery?

A: A comprehensive assessment of your mental health and/or addiction needs, a friendly, intelligent and understanding professional and treatment rooted in evidence.

Q: What types of insurance do you take?

A: Blue Mountain Associates is able to bill private insurance, Tricare and Medicare. Not all of our practitioners are preferred providers for all plans. Please contact your plan prior to your appointment to verify your practitioner’s status with your plan.

Grande Ronde Recovery is able to bill private insurance and Oregon Health Plan.

Q: How do I make an appointment?

A: Call 541-962-0162 choose option 1 to schedule an appointment with Blue Mountain Associates and to schedule an appointment with Grande Ronde Recovery choose option 2. Initial evaluations are scheduled for 60-80 minutes depending on the clinician. You may complete and submit all necessary paperwork online prior to your appointment by using ENTER LINK.

Q: What is the cost of a session?

A: Copays and coinsurance vary according to your coverage and deductible. Our office staff will be happy to inform you of the various prices, depending on your insurance coverage. We also welcome those without insurance coverage and are happy to arrange a payment plan for you.

Q: What hours are you open?

A: Blue Mountain Associates office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Fridays from 8:00 am to noon. Please check with our office staff regarding specific clinician hours. Grande Ronde Recovery is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Fridays the office is closed for our opiate detoxification group, please call for details.

Q: What if I have an emergency?

A: In the event of a mental health emergency we encourage patients to call 911 or go to their local emengency room.

Q: How long can I expect to wait for a returned call?

A: We try to return all calls within 24 hours. If you do not recieve a call back with in 48 hours please call again and leave another message.
